Tivo Series 2 Dual tunner question

I have a question reguarding the new tivo series 2 dual tunner boxes. My question is I read the dual tunner cannot use two satalite connections to record 2 shows at the same time? eg watch 1 channel while recording another channel is that true. Second question can it be hooked up just to a satelite system like dish because it said it cant use two connections? please clear this up for me

One of the inputs for the dual tuner must come through the cable input to use the internal tuner. The dual tuner does not have more than one control for an external box like a satellite box or a cable box. Thus it cannot change channels on more than one external box.

It will work the same as single tuner DVRs with a satellite box. The second tuner is only for analog cable.

Unless you have outstanding circumstances - like you pay for cable on the side, etc. Your best bet is to grab the great deals on the Series2 (Non DT Series 2) boxes now.

They are free after rebate at most if not all outlets.
