I did a search on the forums and didn't see our issue mentioned anywhere. Hopefully someone else experienced this, as I really don't want it to be yet another defective box.
Several weeks ago we recorded a movie on the Sci-Fi channel called Black Hole. Last week we finally got around to watching it. Part way through, we paused as I had to go do something, and my wife turned on some other show to watch. When we went to continue the movie, about an hour later, it was gone. Disappeared from the Now Playing list. Vanished! Not manually deleted, as was verified by it not being listed in the Recently Deleted folder, and not automatically deleted as there were still many many hours of TiVo Suggestions recorded and two other shows in the Recently Deleted folder that all would have been deleted if space was needed. But still, the movie was no where to be found on the list. I made a mental note that I would have to look this up on the forums. Of course, I forgot.
Until about a week later, when my wife had it happen again. This time it was an episode of Zatch Bell. She started watching the episode, and then paused it and went to the Recently Deleted folder to restore the two episodes which occurred before the one she just started watching. After she restored both of these episodes, she returned to the Zatch Bell folder, and instead of three episodes, it only had two episodes, the two she just restored. So she watched one of those, and after deleting it, the Zatch Bell episode that had vanished earlier was now back (so now the folder again contained two episodes), and was still in the same spot that she had paused it.
:confused: So... anybody else experience this weirdness? We have a stand alone TiVo brand Series 2 TiVo with Lifetime Service and software version 7.2.2b-oth-01-2-140.
