I have Direct TV, I've got the HD Box but a regular Tivo.
It has always been the case that on my DTV box, for channels 2, 4, 7, and 11 I have to go through a bit of a process to get to them. Example...While channel surfing I have to pass by the first "Channel 2" (the first "Channel 2" always says "Channel Not Available") to get to the second "Channel 2", which works. If I simply use the number pad to get to Channel 2 it will say "Channel not available", I will then have to press the Channel Up button which takes me to the second "Channel 2", which works.
Enter my brand new Tivo.
I picked my local area when going through the Tivo setup process and in the list of channels I can see two of each of my problem channels. The problem is, when I try to test any of the problem channels I always get the "Channel not available" screen, regardless of whether it's the first or second one.
Has anyone encountered this? Is there a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
Thanks!
