When you log into Yahoo Photos you will see a little link up on the top right asking you to join the Yahoo Photos beta (http://feedback.new.photos.yahoo.com/optin). I did this because the features look very cool and now that I've gotten the beta version they are indeed very cool (the beta version is a lot better), but there is a down side.
Accounts that are in the Yahoo Photos Beta will not display on the TiVo's Yahoo Photos HME application instead the "Now experiencing network problems. Please try again later" error will display. If you change your account, you won't be able to view your account or any others since the only option is to go back to the main HME menu (or switch accounts). If you try to view someone else's account that is in the Yahoo photo beta you won't be able to (though you can still view your own account).
Since the Yahoo Photos is in beta, I doubt TiVo will update the HME application until it is released to the public (which is listed as this summer on the signup page). So just a warning before you decide to take the plunge.
