Upgrade-Series 2 To Series 2 dt

It would be nice if Tivo let us transfer our series 2 life subs, to new series 2 dt.

Or better yet, transfer Lifetime to a Series 3 when they come out.

Not going to happen. Lifetime subs were dead weight on TiVo. That's why they stopped selling them. There is no way they're going to let you transfer service to a newer unit.

They did that once way back when HMO had just come out for the S2 units because it got more people to switch to broadband connections, which saved them on dial-up fees and sold more people on the $99 HMO upgrade.
