The 'instructions' are here:

http://customersupport.tivo.com/knowbase/root/public/tv2176.htm?

It says you may have a Codec, which I do.

Now what the heck do I do with it? If I try just dragging the video from the Tivo folder to the Creative Vision folder, it says that the file type isn't supported by my player. SO my guess is that some how i have to run the video through the codec before putting it on my player? Well how do I do that??

The codec on my computer is Cyberlink Video/Sp Decoder DELL 5.3

You may have to use the Creative Explorer program OR you may have to sync through Windows Media Player. I have the Zen Vision (not the M) and it seems to depend on the way the file was originally captured or modified.

For instance, I have to import most .avi files via WMP sync where .wma or .mpg files will go from directory to directory or via Creative Explorer. Mp3s aren't that consistent - some have to go through WMP and some go nicely through Explorer.

I typically use the Tivo --> DirectShowDump --> PocketDivXEncoder method to get to avi's. I could actually just use WMP after the DSD step, but that results in bigger files.

Hope this helps.
