I want to send my HD TiVo's audio signal to a 2nd receiver (the HD TiVo is already sending audio and video signals to the HT receiver). The 2nd receiver is powering my four outdoor speakers.

Can I feed TiVo audio to a 2nd receiver so I can listen to satellite radio (DirecTV) outside?

Thanks for your help!

Unless i'm missing the point of what you are trying to do, you should be able to just buy some splitters and split the signal to go to both destinations.

The HD Tivo has two audio outputs. You can run the optical cable to your home theater receiver, and the R/L analog audio to your second receiver.

Or, as mentioned above, you could just get RCA cable splitters, and send one pair of red and white lines to one receiver, and the other set to the other receiver.

(Be careful not to do what I almost did in feeding my receiver and my DVD recorder. I started to run both red lines to one, and both white lines to the other....I'm special. :p )
