Getting Recording off the Tivo and Onto my Mac so i can burn to DVD

Does anyone know how to get files off the tivo and onto the mac so i can burn on dvd.

you need a pc to handle the direct show filter (some use virtual PC or dual boot macs in PC mode) but you can't do this on a standard mac running only OS X.
