So I have the Tivo Desktop Software installed on one of my home PC's. The Tivo Beacon service is running and the Tivo Desktop Server is down in the System Tray is shown as Server on... I was able to stream one show up to my Tivo from my PC to watch but after that the PC is no longer in my now playing list... any ideas?

Check 2 things (this is what I have to do at least)
1- make sure your tivo desktop is pointed to the c: drive somewhere
2- Make sure you have something in there

Oh so I need to have the full Tivo Desktop software running to be able to see my PC in the now playing list not just the Tivo Server app running?

Hmm it's been running the whole time and my Tivo Recordings folder is full of items I've downloaded.

Sometimes when my PC disappears in now playing, I can navigate into music, photos and more and then return to now playing and its back.

Does anyone have any more suggestions regarding the computer disappearing from view?
To see the computer again I have to delete the computer IP address, and then re-enter IP address. It seems to last a few hours.

Unfortunately no. I had the same issue. I downloaded the "a" version of the desktop yesterday and it appeared.

Jim,
Thanks for the update. Let me know if it solves the problem when you check Tivo again today or tomorrow.

This happens from time to time with me. Usually a reboot of the tivo will fix it.
