My RS-TX20 is so much slower than my S2DT

Is this to be expected or is there something I'm not doing right. When I press the Tivo button on my s2dt, the menu comes up almost immediately but with the rs-tx20, there's about a 4-5 second delay. I've only had both units for about a month so I'm not sure what to do. Thanks

Yes, the RS-TX20 is noticably slower than the S2DT. That's normal. The 5xx series units (of which the RS-TX20 is an example) are the slowest of the Series2 units. The 6xx (of which the S2DT is an example) are the fastest. So it is going to be the most noticable comparison. Fastest to slowest would be: 6xx, 2xx, 1xx, 5xx. And really the 2xx and 1xx are about the same, but the 1xx has USB1.1 so I'll dock it a bit. ;-)

My Humax DRT800 (595) was always a little slower than my 160 and 240, but ever since I received 7.3, it's been much much worse.

Cmon Tivo and Humax. Fix this damn thing already.
