FTP & Tivo ?

Can you use FTP to download files from TiVo? What I'm looking to do is download all of my recorded shows to a server every night at 2am. I know how to transfer files via ftp but can't connect to my tivo via FTP. I'd rather not HACK my TiVo. Perhaps there is another way to do this?

Have you looked at the new auto-transfer feature of the brand new TivoDesktop 2.3?

Installed v2.3.
"There is a problem with your installation: Required components are missing.

It's on a Win2kServer machine. Hope it's just the fact that I haven't installed the drivers for the new sound card.

Maybe try Galleon.

Haven't played with it in awhile, but EtiVo (by the author of DirectShow Dump) had a way to pull new shows off your Tivo when they appeared. Not an easy setup, IIRC.
