Humax DTR800 burned Dvd playback Issue

I have burned many DVD's from my tivo which play great in all of my DVD players. When I try to play them back on my Laptop (using either windows media player or Power DVD) the movie picture is scrambled and pixelated but audio is fine. I updated the drivers/firmware for my Laptop dvd player but still no go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was playing around with the settings on PowerDVD and found that if I switch hardware acceleration off or if I put on something called eagle vision while acceleration is on, the dvd works fine. Still can't get it to work with Media Player but, really, who cares.
