I installed TiVo to Go on a new desktop computer, but it will not see the DVR. My Laptop continues to see it. (Wireless)

Tried uninstalling, and re-installing. No Luck.

Tried installing with the firewall turned off, and then ran into Beacon Starting proplems.

I'm sure there is something needing to be changed in the network settings, but don't have a clue.

This might be cause by a lack of the media access key. I just checked this out, If you type 1 thing in setting the Media Acess Key and hit the ok, you no longer can see your connection in now playing. If you are transfering at the time you do change the key the tranfer will complete? im guess cause I backout to check this out. Now time to reset my acces key. :)

I just reset my Key

If in the Details of shows( Top Panel)

You see: Family Guy (recorded sat jun 10 at 1:00am TBS
Which is just like a finish transfer looks like in the lower panel." Family Guy (recorded sat jun 10 at 1:00am TBS).TiVo"

Your acees key is not set and you will not see your computer on Now playing. This is for "TiVo Desktop" if you have Galleon also, which is basically the samething, you will see your Comp thru it.

I started the new PC (nVidia motherboard) with the nVidea Firewall installed. Somewhere through the software installs it was corrupted and overtaken by the Windows XP Firewall. I tried uninstalling it totally, but apparently something was left on. (Besides TiVo to Go not working, I could not get the new PC to recognize other computers on the home network.)

Worked through a new windows install and bypassed the nVidia firewall, and every thing works like a champ.
