I've been reading a lot of the threads on here where a lot of people are having intermitant signal loss and just wanted to share my issue and resolution.
About 2 weeks ago all of a sudden I could not get channel 72 directv hdespn2. I got black screen, banner and audio, but no video. completely weired....I get ALL other channels...signal strengths are good, but this is the only channel with no video. I spent hours on the phone with dtv and nothing. Again all cables were fine, lnb ok and signal strength good. So Dtv sent me a new receiver to resolve. Well after getting new receiver same damn issue no 72...I was also having frequent intermitant signal losses on multiple channels....specifically 71 where I could not even watch a move. After the new stb would not work I told dtv to send me a replacement card. Well I just got it yesterday and guess what I can not get channel 72 and I no longer have the intermittant video loss. I hope this helps others?
