I looked and couldnt seem to find anything about this. My understanding is that I need

a) TivoToGo
b) some kind of decoder to change files to .mp4

is there more to it than this? I havent actually tried it yet, i am downloading my first program onto my computer now...

What decoder is recommended? Freeware would be nice...

I think I have answered my own question. I opened my Videora to see if it supported tivotogo files and it does! Score! Now all I need is a bigger HD on my ipod

DirectShow Dump first, followed by Videora. TV Harmony is another option with some more uh advanced features. Hopefully TiVo will release their converter sometime soon, though that may cost 20-30 bucks.

if you have the bucks to spend creative zen is the new fun tool that is out to beat up ipod sales.. and it works with tivo pretty well from what i've seen.
