Duplicate Channels

Hi,

In relation to my other post, "Background Static", I've noticed some TiVo behaviour that I didn't expect and wondered if it was 'normal'.

I'm using analogue and Freeview via TiVo, due to poor Freeview reception I normally have channels 1-5 from analogue and everything else from Freeview. To work-around the problem I mention in my other post I added the Freeview channels 1-5 as well as the analogue ones.

Despite my Season Passes and Wish-lists being added against the analogue channels they started recording on Freeview instead. Is this to be expected?

Yes.

TiVo records on the highest numbered SCART input channel before any lower numbers - then RF input.

TiVo uses the callsign to determine the channel - not the channel number.

So if you record FIVE - it will use the SCART input.


If you are in England, you should notice BBC2 records OK from analogue - as their is no local digital service.
