Disclaimer: This is a complicated scenario, and I'm not the world's best at explaining things, but I'll give it a shot.

I have a Directv dual LNB dish that feeds a 2 in, 4 out multiswitch in my attic. These 4 outputs go to each of my 3 BRs, plus the living room. I have a dual input tivo in my living room and have a coax running all the way from a BR to the living room in order to have a second input. It's ugly, but fortunately I don't have to worry about how bad it looks. I am tired of tripping over the cable though.

My goal is to get two inputs to the unit in the living room. Ideally I'd like to do it without having to run another line, but from what I've read that may not be possible.

FIRST QUESTION:
Is there a such thing as a 1 in, 2 out multiswitch that I could put in the living room between the wall jack and tivo? Based on what I've read, I don't think that is technically possible, but thought I'd ask.

SECOND:
Can you daisy chain two 2X4 muliswitches so that you have a total of 6 outputs? (have two outputs from the first be the the two inputs to the second) If I could do this I could run an extra line to the living room, which leads me to my third question:

THIRD:
Has anyone ever run coax through an insulated wall? Anywhere that I could put an extra wall jack in my living room is going to be insulated, and someone told me that it wasn't much fun to run coax in that situation. Would an electrican be the person to call to do something like that?

Is there another solution that I'm not thinking of?

Thanks so much for any info you can give me.

I don't find it that hard to run coax through an insulated wall. Use a long bit of the proper diameter, slightly bigger then the coax. Once the bit is through both walls detach the bit from the drill and tape the coax to the bit. Go to the far wall and pull the bit and coax through.

Question 1 - The only thing that comes close is a stacker/destacker combo. It is very expensive. It would be cheaper to run another line.

Question 2 - Yes. Run two lines from the first 2x4 multiswitch to the second 2x4 multiswitch.

Question 3 - I've done it a few times but I have all the tools needed to do it (long flexible fiberglass polls). It may be cheaper instead of buying all the tools to have an electrican do it. It does not cost anything to get a quote over the phone...
