Dead Hard Drive [Text View]

Hello,
The hard drive seems to have died in my SVR-2000 with lifetime subscription (TIVO stuck on Getting Started Screen and there is a loud whirring sound). Does anyone have recommendations on installing a new hard drive? Any suggestions on where to get an image of another TIVO drive? What are the requirements for the drive I get the image from?

Any hard drive as big or bigger will work. You can send a Private Message to Stan Simmons requesting an image for the SVR-2000. You will need to do a lot of reading in the stickies at the top of this forum.
