Problems Burning .iso to CD for Tivo Upgrade

Hello All

After some serious thought and lots of research I decided to upgrade my Humax DRT400 with a seagate 400gb HD everything mentioned is brand NEW.

The very first step..burning the iso to a cd after downloading it from PTV and/or weaknees upgrade sites...and the iso would not burn...I though it was my burner then I tried 3 other burners(3 different computers) and kept getting error messages...

The messages were: could not be burned and variants of that...in all cases burn failed..I used Deepburner, cheetah, roxy and Nero all the same problems...

The Humax is new and setup to go..but has no recordings or timers set..just the initial setup..so is this my only option to upgrade the new seagate HD for the Humax...or are there ways around this...

Not sure what to do..some Tivo expertise would be helpful and greatly appreciated...

Try burning the .iso using ImgBurn

use isobuster (http://www.isobuster.com) to open the iso file (and make sure it's good).

Then from Nero, depending on the version, select burn image (in version 5 it's on the File menu, in version 6 it's on the Recorder menu).

Lower the burn speed, perhaps your media cannot handle the default burning speed.

Thanks All..I realized that my cd wasnt burnign and that in combo with some random bad disks prevented the burn...

I then used another pc verifed the cd and burned just fine...

I hooked up my new 400gb drive and old 40gb drive fram the Humax drt400 and began the weakness upgrade deal...

All went well ...drive recognizeds and sizes to...almost too good..

Now Im a little stuck on the command to type in order to copy the drive properly the first time cant afford the mistake...
