I've always been meaning to ask the group, "what are the RSN alternates and what are the ESPN alternates?" Is it worth including them in the "Channels I receive" listing? Is there ever any programming on these stations and if so, under what circumstances would there be programming on these stations? Thanks.

For example, here in Chicago:

Comcast SportsNet airs about 50% of the baseball games in Chicago (both the Cubs and White Sox)

There are times Comcast SportsNet is airing BOTH the Cubs and the White Sox
They have Comcast SportsNet and Comcast SportsNet PLUS (kinda like an overflow channel)

At that point, it used to be channel 639 for the overflow, but they kicked it up to about 660ish, but that is what they are for.

Like ebonivic said, it just depends on where you live. In Houston, although Fox Sports Southwest is on 643 the Astros games are almost always on the alt 639 channel.
