Tivo Clock? Shows not fully recorded

The darn Tivo stops recording about 30 seconds before the shows over. Is there anyway to set the clock?

Try padding the end of the show for an extra minute.

I can't do that for every show. It won't always record the next show because of overlap.

Since you are in the DTiVo forum your TiVo has two tuners so padding a show will not prevent another frome being recorded unless there is a 3 way conflict.

As far as the clock; it is set from the SAT stream and there is no way to override it. The networks often do not keep to their schedules. that is what padding if for.

Also, remember the good old days when a show ended at around 8:57, then there were 3 mins of commercials, and then the next show started at 9:00?

Now, the show ends at 9:00:05 and the next show starts at 9:00:06... or worse, it ends at 8:58:59 and the next show starts at 8:59:00 and is 61 minutes long.... or the craziest thing I've seen: Deal or No Deal's credits run under the beginning of The Apprentice.
