New and confused

Hi,

Forgive me but I am very new to this. I am confuse don what works and what does not even after spending days on the board reading.

I now have 3 recievers, 2 DVR40s(Dual tuner) and a Hughes HDTV(forgive me dont have the model handy) I also have 2 dishes, one one the house that was there when we bought it, I believe it is a dual LNB(2 cables, one "puck") and we had DTV install a triple LNB for the HD unit. Here is the question, what needs to be done for all 3 units to work at the same time? I have access to a Terk 5x8 multiswitch a friend has and is not using, but no manual with it so Im not sure it is even the right product to use. Any help would be super!

All you will need is that Turk 5x8

Take the 4 feeds from your 3 LNB dish, send it to the terk (to the 4 SAT inputs)
Then hook all your recievers to the output of the multiswitch.

The triple only has one cable coming out of it, sorry I just realized I forgot to add that.

If the triple only has one cable, call D* and get them to send out an installer who knows what he's doing!

If this is the case, then you can't use the full features of the HR10-250 (the HD TiVo receiver) as only one input doesn't allow you to use both tuners.

There should be four cables coming from the 3LNB dish.
