View Full Version : Arrested Development Season 3 Release date changed

I had pre ordered AD Season 3 months ago, it was due to be released the week of June 20th. I was sent an email today saying the date was now August 29th.

I cried a little.

I was planning on requesting it as a Father's Day present, so I went to look on Amazon.ca; the release date they had was December 31, 2025. That one was obviously wrong, otherwise I would have cried a little, too. So, Father's Day is out; now on to "Birthday Present" (late October).

at least the DVDs are coming out. I was quite concerned it was the last time I'll ever see these.

I don't know how much of a mistake it was. They don't have a Season 4 to tie the release to, and is there really a single AD fan who's going to say, "Well, I would have bought it on June 20, but August 29? !? No way!

Ah, so there will be at least three unaired episodes included in the Season 3 set? Excellent, I can't wait.

All joking aside, what is the delay -- was there any news out on this? There was very little bonus stuff on the first two sets, and they've had lots and lots of time to put this one together. I wonder why the delay. I'm hoping they'll make it worth our wait.

I hope this set has a DD5.1 soundtrack option. If they can do it for the HD broadcasts, then it should be on the DVD sets.

Wow, just realized I STILL haven't watched the series finale! Guess I just don't want it to end.Ditto. Mine is marked "Save Until I Delete" and I just don't know what I'm waiting for. Maybe we're in the denial phase of mourning/grief. Only a few more phases to acceptance, and maybe then we can watch the finale!

Thanks for reminding me of one of my favorites -- All That Jazz -- the movie that Chicago never could be. Anyone get the DVD copy? Was the transfer any good?

And not to point fingers, but a few of you here know why the release is delayed. You left the door open with the air conditioner on.
