DTivo in RV

My friend had an in motion sat. installed, at the dealer, in her new Roadtrek van. D came and hooked up the Tivo receiver. Now it won't work. She said the D installer just came out and hooked up the box. Anyone have suggestions on where she can go for help? Should the installer have done more than just hook up the box? Thanks.

If she hooks up her old receiver does that work? Did the receiver work when the tech left?

I only post this because of what customers have told me. In motion sat. dishes require a "low speed data" port in order to hook into the dish. I am only saying that if they had it working with a standard receiver then this cable was probably hooked up. I really hope this isn't to problem becasue DTivo's don't have a low speed data port and they are SOL. Good Luck and hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I was wrong. She has a regular D box. The installer basically brought her the box, didn't hook it up, etc. She hooked it up and turned it on. The satellite is searching but the progress bar is reading 0.
