Ok we'll have to take their word that it was only 1 second between number 9 and the other girl hitting the button. But that guy was definitely not thinking. Ok fine, you are giving up, but why not wait until the buzzer starts to hit the button and maximize your time? It's quite amazing that they could remember those numbers when they were substituting out others. I know that's all they had to do, but still, after all that non sleep...impressive if they really were that good.

I thought the crybaby (8?) would be the first to go. And i forget who it was, but whoever didn't use their pillow after the first time they didn't put in the code was nuts. It would have provided some relief. And I wonder if it was really that loud in there? i believe permanent hearing damage would have resulted if it was that high for hours. no way a show risks that. Heck even a stead low alarm for 3 hours will kill ya.

I think they were a bit misleading in that you would think these people would be in here forever if they did the task. Nope, it's apparent they push people out by increasing the difficulty.

speaking of forever....they were very persistent in saying the first person was out forever....to me that means they will bring the remaining rejectees back at some point unless they say 'forever' also.

And when these people say stuff like this could go on for months etc, that really makes me doubt the reality of the show. I'm sure they signed up for a maximum of X weeks or days and no way would a show ever have an indefinite period of time.

the previews show some interesting things down the line....but i would think the game would be more pure if it literally was people sitting there 'forever' doing nothing. Contests give them something to do.

this is almost a combination of lost and unanimous in a way. I wonder if the same person that did unanimous did this, sure stinks like it.

Wasn't one of the premises of the show that you didn't know what the other players were doing? Well to tell everyone what everyone took away, then basically tell them one person was being removed after this challenge sorta took that premise away.

We watched this show and thought it was hilarious.

OK.. but I think I remember the chipmunk host lady saying that none of the others will know when one of the others press the button. But won't they? I mean when someone presses the red button, the current contest is over, no? They are going to keep going with the contest until someone snaps, right? What I missing there?

Anyway, how did they remember all those numbers and twists?!?! I would have been out early like those girls. lmao

They said that the treatment will continue into the next episode. That way, they can't just wait until the first person quits.

They lied about what part?

they said no player will know what the others do.

1. not true because they stopped the test when he pressed the button...in theory they should have continued with the experiment

2. after everyone said what stuff would be taken away from the others, val told everyone pretty much what everyone else said.

so that's definitely not a solitary thing.

Also all the tests they are going to do really aren't in the spirit of the game if you ask me. It gives them 'something' to do. But i realize them just sitting in a room would make boring TV.

They showed in the "coming next week" part that the treatment continues into the next episode. . So I don't think anyone else knows that someone had quit. It was only over for the two players who quit.

ok i didn't watch previews...but they still said you wouldn't know and would be isolated...the spirit of that is broken, even if only by default

I don't see anything misleading about the show. They never said they are going to sit in a room doing nothing. they make it a point to say that it was a social and psychological experiment to test each person's individual breaking point. The solitary aspect is that a: they are truly alone in a room with pretty much nothing to do 90% of the time, b: the treatments and tests they do, they have no idea what the other people are doing, so they know they have to go on as long as possible or risk being the first out. More mind games.

the whole take away thing, they told everyone the results (without telling who did what) in order to mess with their minds even more. The guy who took everything away from everybody was all guilty and felt lame, and Val made him feel worse by throwing the Christian thing at him. Kinda funny.

I actually find the show interesting. Some slow parts, but overall, I like it.

EDIT to add spoiler:
and the last show, they don't know when anybody else quit. they kept going until there was only one person left who entered the code correctly
