If you like the style of humor in Reno 911, and maybe mixed with a little bit of "The Office" style of comedy, you might like this show. Part scripted, part improv, it takes place at a dating service. Most of the cast is recognizable as bit characters from other shows, and they all do a good job here. Good summer fluff. It merits a SP from me.

I saw the pilot and put in a SP. Looks like there is a lot of potential. There were some funny moments in there and some scenes that were a little flat. But over all I think once they get going it could be a good series. I am a big fan of the improv, no laughtrack, shaky cam comedies. (Arrested Development, The Office, Sons and Daughters, Significant Others) Too bad 3 out of the 4 were cancelled....
The only drawback to this show is that I am now watching Lifetime...yikes.

maybe it was because i was watching it alone, at 4:00 am, but i thought it was very bland. i love reno 911! and the office and arrested development and significant others and campus ladies, but this one was poorly edited, with the slo-mo scenes and the soundtrack. which isn't to say the actors sucked. i like wendy mclendon-covey and that other lady from the christopher guest stable of actors, but they seem to be working with a bland script with patchy editing.
of course, i dogged the office during the first few episodes, so who am i to talk.

Sounds like a good show. I just set up a SP for it. Then I took a look at the To Do list and it looks like the Tivo is recording 2 episodes a day for the next 5 days (at first run only). Anybody else got this problem? From the guide info, it looks like there's no episode info so that's why its doing it.

I noticed that too. With the exception of one other episode, they all have the same title.

So there's incomplete guide data. Hardly a reason to get worked up about.

Hey I think incomplete data is something to get worked up about. It's incomplete - that pisses me off and I use a smiley like this -->
If the guide data was complete I would be happy and I would use a smiley like this --> :)
When someone gets all worked up over me getting worked up I use a smiley like this --> or maybe even this -->
And lest someone think that I'm deadly serious about any of this I will close with a smiley like this --> ;)
:D

Actually a good show! I love this kind of sitcom (no laugh track).
I never thought I would SP something from Lifetime. Good God, what's next - something from the WE?

bridezillas looks pretty good to watch. nothing like spoiled rich broads getting worked up over a creme vs. off white fabric.

Same here. SP'd it after I checked out the first episode.
I think Jennifer Elise Cox (Jan from the Brady Movies) stole the show!
