I have been seeing previews of the big brother allstars. Who are the clowns they keep showing.?
I started watching the show BB4 because of Alison. She hooked me. in BB5 Cowboy and the aliance was fun to watch. Well it was fun to make fun of what a hick he was. :)
I know I must have watched BB6 but, I cant remember any of them. It must have been bad or something.
Who do you want to see come back.

It's funny how fast most reality contestants fade from your memory once the show ends. Only a few BB houseguests stand out in my mind despite spending months watching them 3 times a week!
Evil Dr. would be an obvious choice, assuming he wants to participate. Marvin, that southern belle who liked cheese, the guy who owned a bar, Lisa, ...who else? I wonder if we will even recognize the pool of contestants they throw together. :)

I still am waffling on how interested I am in this. I've watched every season since S2, and the last 2 years I have sworn I wouldn't watch only to keep watching. This year I swore again, that this is it (I swore the same thing with The Apprentice and actually kept my word). If Evil Dr. Will is on, I'll probably watch, if not, I think I'll probably pass unless my kids tell me it's really good. I am starting to get really burnt out on these long term reality shows now. The only ones I watch with any consistancy are Survivor (which I'm really getting bored with), and TAR (which is still my fav). I have never watched AI which doesn't interest me in the least. And I've looked at a couple of the new ones, which I haven't lasted an episode with.

I will watch either way but I did hear Evil Will is going to be on it :)
Big Brother is just a good show to past the summer nights - problem is keeping up to date with the episodes and such. I generally fast forward through about 20-30% of the content once I know some of the characters.

Even though I don't subscribe, I still try and following the live feeds via other people's posting. Sometime, I wonder if the Television show is even from the same universe.

I want to see Britney back from Season 1 back on.
Do they have a list of people that will be able to vote to go back in the house? Or are we just to assume that it's every single HG from every season of big brother.
If Chicken Man gets voted back in that house, I won't watch. I hated him.

From what I understand BigBrother Allstar will also be asking the audience to make a decision out of several contestants (decided on by BB) from previous seasons and we will vote on who gets to go in.

Sounded to me like there will be 20 candidates announced on the "casting special" and then the public gets to vote. The top 6 public picks will go in, and the producers will pick 6 more to make it a total of 12.

If you go to Reality BBQ (http://www.realitybbq.com) they have an update list of all the past houseguests along with a probability of whether they will be asked to participate. In many cases they have talked to houseguests directly and some have indicated that they will say yes or no.

Well, they have Brittany on the list. If that's true, I'll definately be voting her to go back in.
What was that one girl's name from a couple of seasons ago? She was the one that turned out to be the one guy's sister and they had no idea. I liked her too. Her personality was a lot like Brittany's and I think it'd be cool to see them in the house together.

Wow, in what way did she hook you? If I remember correctly, she was one of the most hated contestants from that show ever. After BB4, I was able to forget about her, then she went on Amazing Race. I think I stopped watching Amazing Race right around that time.
Edit: UnicornGoddess, that would be Nakomis you are thinking about. She's the originator of the six finger plan (I think that is what it was called.) I think we may see a rule change this year because of that.

Yeah, I hope Nakomis comes back.

Amy, I thought she was a hoot! She got drunk alot also. :D
I pretty much liked all of the season 3 people. Season 4 is when they started with "themes" and "twists". It became too formulated.

Looking at that top 20 list, seems to be very skewed toward last season. And I hated last season's HGs, although there were some good infights, just nobody I could really root for. I don't know if I coud stand another season of Kaysar, Maggie, Janelle and Howie.

Like someone said, I can barely remember all the contestents I used to like. I will get a better feel for this when the names are posted at CBS. I'm sure there are people I'm not thinking about that I'd like to see again.
I liked Janelle - she seemed down to earth and relatively decent compared to the Cappy crew >shudder<.
Plus, she would be great with Evil Dr. Will!

The talk about good and evil sides seem weird.. I don't see any clear split. I think most of them fall in the category of pfft... Not good and evil. I would have to put ivette on the evil side though, as I never liked her. :)

Not sure if this should be spoilerized, but I'll do it anyway
Why so many from BB6, which was probably the least enjoyable season I've watched? The breakdown.
BB1 - 1
BB2 - 4
BB3 - 3 (surprising, this was probably my favorite season of all)
BB4 - 3
BB5 - 4
BB6 - 5
Nine of the 20 from the last 2 years. I think they should have added more of the older ones and do like Survivor did, only 1 from the last season. I personally will NOT be voting for ANYONE from last season. I think my votes will be:
1. George BB1 (I never saw BB1, so it might be interesting to see how he does with the newer rules
2. Will BB2 (One of my all time Fav reality show contestants, and from interviews after seems like he's got it all in perspective too)
3. Lisa BB3 (because she's hot)
4. Marcellais BB3 (to see if he plays with his head, not his heart)
5. Erika BB4 (because she's hot too)
6. Nikomis (because she's a smart player)
I would guess that at least 4 of the 5 BB6 players will be on the show...Howie, Janelle, Kayser, James would be my guess.
Also found it interesting that there's only 2 winners, Lisa and Will.

Part of the enjoyment of BB for me is to get to know the house guests (as much as you can with the editing that goes on). I don't think I have much interest in seeing the dynamic from a group of people who can research past seasons and have a preconcieved notion of the players.
I don't see how this can be any better than Survivor All Stars.
That said, I'll probably watch it anyway.

Evil Dr....
The thing that will always stick in my mind about him is making fun of 9/11.
I realize they were in the house and didn't realize the enormity, but Big Brother showed clips of Will flying planes into stacks of building blocks.
I know it probably sounds minor reading this, but *seeing* it right after 9/11, it was very shocking. I seem to remember (but could be wrong) that he hasn't really even apologized for this.. I think it was at least alluded to in some interviews he did after the show.

Hmmm, I don't remember that, but it WAS almost 5 years ago, and I don't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday half the time :) I'm really surprised if he did that, that it didn't become a HUGE deal, and that there wasn't a huge about of backlash about it. Heck the Dixie Chicks got all kinds of crap for what they said and I think what Dr. Will did was a lot worse....

I know who's not going to be on the show but am sworn to secrecy. Well, my wife was actually the one sworn to secrecy, but she did tell me and although she didn't swear me to secrecy I'm assuming she did tell me in confidence.

Hmmmm...are you teasing us or just braggin'? :D
One question though, if anyone knows. There was a list of 20 that was linked earlier in the thread, and it is my understanding that we will get to vote for 6, and the other 6 will be chosen by the producers. So, my question is, are the 6 chosen by the producers coming out of those 20 or have they already chosen 6 different HGs?
DancnDude

It's my understanding that the producers will be choosing from that list as well. So essentially the public will probably pick 6, and the producers will pick 6 others that will cause the most tension/excitement with the public's picks.

I don't recall that at all. Seems like that would make an impression if it really happened as you describe. I searched for an episode description that might show that, but all I found was the recap on TWOP where they had some Will quotes from that time...
The houseguests go out to the patio, and try to process what they've just been told. Nicole can't figure out why the terrorists crashed one of the planes in Pennsylvania, of all places. "The pilot, he just took it down," Will says, looking at his feet. "He's a hero," he finishes. Monica just stares at the backgammon board.
In the Diary Room, Will comments that Monica has been really strong in the face of all this tragedy. Outside, Monica tells Will and Nicole that she's just praying and hoping for the best.
Later, Will sits on a patio chair and reflects that "this makes [the game] seem really small, doesn't it?" The girls nod, sadly.
Monica is called into the Diary Room for another update. Lisa breaks the news that Monica's family hasn't heard from Tamitha yet, but that they're still looking, and still feeling optimistic. Monica sighs.
"I've never seen someone so calm in the face of something this big," Will says, in the Diary Room, of Monica. "I think it says a lot about her character."
Can't find anything else via search...

I definatley remember seeing him with a toy plane too, but I don't think CBS told the houseguests very much beyond A plane/planes crashed into the WTC. I don't think they knew the buildings came down or how many people were still inside.
But I do seem to recall a brief apology afterwards from him on the topic - not sure where though.
