I just moved and had to repeat Satellite guided set-up on my Philips DSR6000 upgraded to two 80 Gb hard drives.
Process goes ok and strong signals from satellite. However, system hangs up on the "checking satellite and multiswitch" screen. Download hangs at 28%. No change if I unplug and re-plug.
I have 3 other DSR6000s that went through everything fine. Would appreciate any help. My wife has a bunch of recordings and would like to salvage if possible. Should I just buy a new DSR6000 and swap the drives out.
By the way, modem has not worked in 2 years but no problem except the nag screen.
