Tivo and SKY HD How have you done it?

Well the subject says it all really.
I have the tivo on the SCART with the same settings as before (PAL & SCART control)
RF2Link for the blaster and Tivo set to SKYD / SKYRADIO (sky+ codes)

I have a couple of issues. I find even with mode 0 hack that the tivo looks a lot worse than the component op of the HD box (in SD) so I tend to watch via the component and go back to rgb when watching the tivos recording.
I wonder if we cant do better ! Is there any way to convince the tivo to start a recording on the HD box ? Kinda like we had the sky key added.
Anyone experimenting ?

With the unreliability of the HD box at the moment.. it's probably not worth it. The box will likely change as they bring out bug fixes meaning that any workarounds may need to change... still I would welcome and help anyone who wants to try...

That said on my 50" Plasma (505XDE) the picture from Tivo via scart is fine... very little difference from HD.

I wonder if it just subjectiveness or is it the quality of the screen or perhaps the size of the screen ( the smaller the better ) or all 3 that leads to you not being happy with the picture, whilst I think it's fine.

What TV do you have?
