I'm getting my Sky HD box installed this week, and had assumed that the best way to go was to use my original Sky box as a multi-room feed into TV. Is there an alternative?
Additionally, when I got my HD-ready LCD, I moved TiVo, my Sky box, and my Sony DAVS 880 all-in-one system into the hall cupboard, and drilled holes in the wall to run the cables through into the back of the TV.
As I couldn't drill a hole big enough to get any kind of Scart cable through (even after taking the head off), I went with the temporary option of just running a composite video connection from the TiVo to the TV. I've been surprised that the picture quality has been really good so far, but in the long run I'd prefer a better connection. Has anyone got any advice? I have got component cables going from my DAVS 880 to the TV, but can't find any way of getting it to pass-through the TiVo signal. Is there a reasonably priced switching box that would take an RGB Scart signal from TiVo, a component connection from the Sony, and send a single component output to the TV?
I'm also thinking of pimping up my TiVo, so can anyone recommend the best guides for connecting it up to my wireless network so I can run TivoWeb and setup Mode 0?
