I''ve had my turbonet card installed for a couple of years - but recently its been misbehaving.

I have a Linksys Router on 192.168.0.99 and the Tivo set to 192.168.0.201 which is outside the DHCP Scope.

However the Tivo keeps changing the gateway address to 192.168.1.99 - if I change it back to my setting it works for a day or two and then start to fail to connect either during a test call or daily call.

This last time, I've changed the settings to 192.168.0.99, but I can't make any successful calls at all. I've now reverted to using the Dial Up connection.

Has any one had any similar problems? Or suggest a possible solution?

I plan on leaving my tivo unattended for six weeks quite soon so I need a reliable connection.

What's your network connectivity? What's your subnet mask?

I've never heard of TiVo changing its own default gateway? How are you establishing that?

Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

I'm running the NIC_config_tivo utility. And it seems to revert to default settings, probably after a reboot.

I'll run a few more tests this afternoon and see if I can find a cause.
