Screen Issues

Errr... I had a quick scan through the forums but couldn't find the answer to my problem....

Seems like Tivo is cutting off the about an inch around the screen when the signal gets to my TV. I've tried replacing the TV but which didn't make the slightest bit of difference. I've also tried connecting my sky box directly to the TV and the picture is exactly how it should be.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or haven't set up?

(My setup is Sky --scart--> Tivo --scart--> TV).

What are your widescreen settings on your TV? You may have it set to "zoom".

IS the TiVo setup for RGB or PAL?

TiVo can not do zooming - it is a tv system. TiVo can only passthru 'zooming' instructions from a broadcaster - but it is rarely used.

It sounds as if you have you tv in a default 'zoom' mode for the SCART.
