Has anyone used these in conjunction with their TiVo? Stated throughput is 14Mbs, if you are using this what type of transfer rate are you getting?

I'm using the Netgear xe102's with 2 of my Tivos and they have been flawless. It's not AS fast as having them directly connected to my network with Cat5 cables but it's definitely faster and more stable than wireless.
I was using Netgear wg111 wireless usb adapters before and MRV was impossible to use. Now I can at least transfer shows between Tivos and my PC.
I guess running actual network cable would make it faster but I don't feel like running that crap through the walls and the attic.

I use a bunch of Phonex Neverwire 14 (http://www.phonex.com/prd_nw14.htm)'s for my LAN. These have been available brand new on eBay for $60. a pair including shipping.
Internet speeds top out around 2200 KBS and MRV transfers at approx. 1.5 x realtime. Powerline carrier is somewhat slow but is really simple to use. A faster, backward-compatible standard, Homeplug AV (http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,122267,00.asp), is in the works.

I've been using Linksys PLEBR10s for the last 5 years or so. Outside of a couple of them dying about 1 month after their warranty expired, they work fine. I record everything at Highest and it takes about 130% of the program duration to transfer via TiVo2Go. I think the limiting factor is actually the TiVo and not the PLEBR10s.

I'm thinking the same thing on my setup. The powerline adapter setup is fast enough for Tivo. The Tivos themselves are the slow part of it.

I've been using belkin's powerline ethernet system since last december. Will continue to use it until the TiVo wifi plug supports WPA.
