New Series 2 DT Remote

How can I get the remote I got with my new Series 2 DT to Power on/off my TV AND my A/V. I can only get my new one to control the volume/mute on my A/V. My old one did it, why not this one? I don't want to use my old remote as the buttons are worn. Plus the new one is shinnier.

Have you program it this way?

1. press and hold TIVO & TV POWER until th light remains on, enter tv code.
2. press and hold TIVO & MUTE, enter the AUD code.
3. press and hold TIVO & TV POWER, enter the AUD code again.

I just got a new TiVo Series 2 DT. I cannot do the one button delete and the recently deleted folder is not there. It looks like I have the latest software. Is this just an update I have to wait for on this box?

The new S2DT TiVos don't have this feature, yet. Why? I don't know. :confused:

Because they aren't sync'd up with the other S2 code bases yet. This always happens when TiVo introduces new hardware. They eventually are merged back in with the regulard codebase. I would imagine the next big release will have S2 DTs using the same software as all of the other S2 boxes.

Yeah, this has come up a couple of times. 7.2.5 branched off 7.2 before Recently Deleted was added for 7.2.2, the codebase will be merged going forward. Just be patient.
