24 is at the top of my list with both east and west feeds covered, and somehow TIVO skipped it last Monday. It is 2 hours that started at 8pm EDT and I didnt bother to check it since it recorded the entire season correctly to that point! I check my network connection regularly and it has always been "successful". Now I am lowered to criminal status by stealing it off the gnutella...

I need to know what might have happened in order to avoid this in the future. My top 2 shows are 24, CSI:Miami, & Alias --in that order. It skipped ALIAS too!

I have lost total confidence now until and if I can figure out what happened! Can anyone suggest some reason?

Thanks!

Go into the recording history list and see what Tivo says about why the shows weren't recorded.

"this program was not recorded because it was scheduled with a TIVO plus feature"

What does this mean? I have not changed ANYTHING! I skipped both 24 & CSI because of this and because CSI conflicted with ALIAS --it didnt record that either! In short TIVO has gone braindead.

What is TIVO plus and why did it make this error?

Tivo Plus is the tivo service subscription. Have you fallen behind on your monthly payments?

Its a one time payment subscription, so no. And it has been recording other shows. In the "To do" list about 1/3 of them are not going to record due to this message.

What model Tivo do you have? Is it a DVD recorder?

Check your subscription status in the system info screen to make sure you're still subscribed. If not, there's a thread here about a recent bug that has caused lifetime users to accidentally go unsubbed. Search for that thread.
