I set my TiVo to record Lost last night (sesson finally nite) and it only recorded to refresher episode. It did not record the next 2 which were the new ones I really wanted. Makes me feel sick. I tried to watch this morning and found out then. I wish TiVo could go back and get things that got missed. I thought when I had season pass it would do it all. It usually does.

Did the Season Pass happen to be set it to Keep At Most 2 episodes AND to Keep Until I Delete? If so the reason it didn't record is because this combination only allows the TiVo to keep two episodes and will not record any more until one of those has been deleted by you the user.

As for getting the episode back... Try Videora. It's a BitTorrent client with the ability to find programs and even transcode them to a TiVo compatible format. All for free!

The Lost Episodes are available for free from ABC.com

Yeah, I'd go with the abc.com free or the itunes.com pay way to go.

Did you check the Recording History to see if it is listed as 'not recorded', and if so, why not?

Go to the To Do list, and choose the topmost item in that list.. You get a list of the upcoming, and past, shows that won't be recorded and why (if you 'enter' each item).

Does your SP for Lost have padding on the end? If so, this may be the reason it didn't record properly. If you have an S1, then any padding will cause the second of back-to-back episodes not to record (because there is a technical conflict in the padded section). On an S2, the "overlap protection" feature will overcome this problem, but only up to 5 minutes (IIRC) of padding. Sadly it is just one of those things you need to be aware of and sometimes make changes in your NP list.
