Based on the DTV-Nascar commercials I would say DTV has suspended the rules requiring a land line, a permanent service address, or a gualifying RV subscription.
They show sat dishes all over the place at the track. Such a deal!

The RV/camper/boat thing is covered in the customer agreement ("assuming" you are not watching a sports subscription or ordering PPV). Nonetheless, the land line "requirement" is a bunch of hot air and I wholeheartedly agree with your sarcasm.

rminsk: I beg to differ wit' ya! I think you missed my point. Your link points to what the requirements are to have D* in your RV. If you look closely at the commercials you will see dishes all around and no qualifying RV in sight. Hence, I jokingly suggested that they must have suspended their rules. morgantown I agree with you about the land line being a joke. I have one receiver that hasn't been connected since 1995. But, none the less, it is their rule and it appears to have been suspended in the case I cite.
