why am i getting NYC locals?

about a month ago, my locals began to include the CBS/NBC/FOX (but not ABC) locals from NYC. (i'm in the hartford/new haven DMA.)

not complaining- it's good news..just wondering why.

If u figure it out let me know! I am in fort lauderdale and would love to get Palm beach locals. Btw if there is someone in the lauderdale area getting PB locals please Pm me and tell me how. FYI I want to also keep my miami locals!! (so changing addy is not an option)

For some reason I'm getting them as well. This happened when SNY was turned on. I'm not complaining.

I live just northeast of Harford and I'm getting the Boston CBS affiliate...nothing from New York. Hmmmmm....

Nothing to do w/ direct tv or anything, but my girlfriend's place, she is on RCN regular cable and gets a random chicago local station! go figure

That's probably WGN, which is a "superstation", relayed nationally through cable networks.
