All I can say is that stacked girl takes Ben's virginity and she doesn't have the decency to take off her bra? Bad form, bad form

Seems like Ben totaly regrets it, he's probably going to blow her off now.

This particular show was a little lack-luster. But it does set up some goodness for next time... hopefully. =)
And little ole Benny handed in his V card. Then he had regrets. Might as well hand in his man card as well.... =p

I thought this was the worst of the episodes so far. Kind of boring actually. As usual, I go back and forth on this show, and still not sure why I invest that hour of my life in it.

What was the deal with the phone being let off the hook at Holloway's (the old man) house? Was that supposed to be Roman or Alby calling?

That was the implication. I'd say it was Alby, since he showed up at the house right after.

I liked this episode. It really explored Margie's feelings....she seems to have resolved all of her second-thoughts regarding the marriage arrangement. It offered some nice development for Ben, although the kid needs to lighten up. Way up.
Bill getting that guy to be his spy was pretty smart and will add fuel to the Roman fire.

I liked the contrast of the birth of Joey's baby and Ben losing his virginity.
Anyone want to bet on Brynn getting pregnant?

I would say it's GONNA happen. I don't know much about the Mormon (or sudo Mormon faith in the show), but do Mormons not believe in birth control? I wondered why he (or the girl) didn't wear any kind of protection.

Mormons do not believe in birth control.
Brynn is going to be pregnant and I have a feeling Ben is going to go to Margene first.
Why would Bill keep talking if the phone was off the hook? Is he that dumb? Seemed way out of character.

I don't think he saw it...but his brother did.
Geeze - this episode dangled two potentially interesting plots in front of us and then took them away in the same hour.
1) I thought that Margene was actually fed up enough to try to leave.
2) I thought Ben was going to rebel and be a normal teenager.
So much for that.
And I wholeheartedly agree with Figaro that the bra should have come off. We are subjected to enough Chet ass that it would be the least they could do. And Chloe's sideboob from last week does not count. :)

I think the fact that the girl is supposed to be a teen is why they didn't show any boobage.
I believe they did show a small bit of nipplage on Chloe last week.

This is HBO there should be no bra on. They should have hired and actress that was willing to loose it. As long as she is 18 in real life I don't care if she is playing 16 or 17, take off the bra.

Mormons do not believe in birth control.
Incorrect, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has no position on the use of birth control by married members.

Yes I agree . He had no idea about the phone. What I don't get is how did they know he was there?

Just dumb luck, maybe? Or is there an informant? Like, perhaps, Bill's mom?

How did the roles get reversed? I would have sworn Ben was the girl in that relationship. ;)
Do Mormons require virginity until marriage? I guess most religions do but very few follow that.

These people are not Mormons and have nothing to do with Mormons. They are as close to being Catholic or Muslim as they are to being Mormon.

Are you ignorant or what? Making a false comment on something you know absolutely nothing about is pretty lame. Of course Mormons believe in birth control. Stop spreading lies on the forums buddy.

More accurately, Mormons believe in "more birth"

If you actually know the answer to someones question, why not just present it nicely instead of being all riled up?
It would appear that the characters on the show are of a sect of fundamentalist mormons. They are using the book of mormon after all, they just aren't the "mainstream" LDS mormons. So technically you are the ignorant one. So calm down, say a prayer and get a grip. It's just a TV show.

He wasn't asking a question, he was stating something that was false and wrong. This show has nothing to do with Mormons at all. Have a great day and calm down man!

That's funny in two parts. A. you were the one all riled up and calling people ignorant. B. there are mormans all over the place on this show.

Mormon neighbors, Mormon in-laws, Mormon friends, Mormon customers,
and how 'bout them missionaries that came a-callin' to Nickie's front door.
You have your major plot, Bill versus Roman, but another major plotline has to be FLDS living and working in a predominately LDS area, and the problems you have trying to have a private life when you're somewhat in the public eye.

I thought this was one of the better eps...how a teenager can finally get some and then not come back for more is beyond my ability to comprehend :p
The bit with Margene was really well done and I really like the little girl...she did a great job of acting in this ep...

Ok, no one has toched the secretary in Bill's office. And the chart she was drawing. Is she working for Roman? And why when Bill caught her in his office didn't he ask to see the note she shoved in her pocket?

sorry. Ok how about this....Margene is pregnant and the neighbor who tried fixing her up is now going to suspect something is going on if she has no b/f and a dead husband.

Technically, the forums rules don't permit (open) discussion of what happened after the episode devoted to a thread (they're considered spoilers).
You should use the 'New Thread' button to create a new thread and use the name of the show and the date/episode name in the title, to officially dedicate a new thread to a new episode.
