Who will win The Amazing Race 9?

I didn’t contribute to the episode threads this season because I saved them and watched them in batches. I finally caught up this past weekend in time for the Season Finale.

I started hating the Hippies, but now would love for them to have a chance at winning. I’m glad MoJo is gone. Don’t really care about Ray and Yolanda. I’ve liked the Frat Boys since the beginning, and I wasn’t thrilled on the stunt they pulled when they canceled the others’ taxis, but Karma paid them a visit real quick. I think of the three groups remaining they will win.

So who do you believe will win The Amazing Race 9?

My wife hates the Hippies. I don;t mind them that much, but I think Eric and Jeremy are going to win.

With MoJo eliminated, I'm content with any of the remaining three to win. The hippies have amused me through much of the race, so I'll root for them.

I'd be happy if any of the final teams win, too. I kind of wish MoJo made it to the final - you need a "bad guy" to make for more compelling television!

I guess the "frat boys" are a reasonable bad guy after cancelling the cabs, though

The Frat Boys have been bad guys the whole race. I skip everything they say because I get real tired of hearing how they're going to get in some girl's pants.

As long as they don't win, I'll be happy.

Anyway, the first episode, my wife and I try to predict the final three. I got it right this time. :)

But I do think the Hippies have a chance to pull this off, I'd say nearly even with E&J. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Ray & Yolanda win, either, though I'd definitely have to put them in third place as far as possibility of winning.

I really like the hippies, but there's a part of me that think's it wouldn't be quite right for them to be last to the pit stop twice and still win it all. OTOH, the frat boys are annoying me more all the time...

I have to go with the hippies even though they rub me the wrong way. The whole season seems geared towards them and they seem to always get second chances (two times finishing last but lo and behold, it's a non-elimination pit stop). When they got the 4:30 bus last week when Joseph & Mojo were told the first was at 5:30 and when they got seats on the plane that "just became available"...to me that told me CBS is pushing them for the "entertainment" value.

I hear you about the Hippies. I like them, but I think they make too many mistakes for them to pull it out. I have enjoyed how they were able to learn a little about each country they were in, even if it was to just say "faster" or "thank you", etc. The Frat Boys do have the same attitude, but it seems that they can think* things through a little better and make a plan.

They are yelling "TTOW," which obviously stands for something, but they've never said what it is (unless I missed it). They have TTOW on their shirts in a couple of eps.

I would like for the hippies to win, but if I had to bet, it would be the frat guys. The hippies have come in last twice now, and the frats have won more legs than any other team.

Honestly, I have all of the teams on about the same level now. I used to not like the frat boys much, but they have grown on me a bit, and I always liked the hippies, and Ray and Yolanda grew on me too...

No team to really root against, and I don't really care who wins.

One of the locations in the previews looks like it might give one team a little bit of an edge. I'm rooting for them, so any advantage it might give them, I'm all for it.

I'm hoping the Hippies will win, so that's how I voted. I like the frat boys the least of the three, but for the first time in TAR, I wouldn't mind if any of the final three won.

I've read somewhere that it stands for "The Transience of Wowness", which would make sense with their attitude. I can't back that up though. :)
