I'm going to watch the season finale next week to round out the season, and then I think I'm done with the show. I've tried to stay interested, but I can't be invested in anything that has happened this year because nothing matters, and it's all so arbitrary anyway. It's to the point where I spend most of the episode trying to remember where I've seen some of the supporting players before because that's more interesting. (The actor playing the insurance agent at the beginning played Ned, an -- yes -- insurance agent in Groundhog Day, and the girl Bree initially accused of eating the frosting played a gastric bypass patient on Scrubs last season.)
I'll keep my fingers crossed for something to end the season that genuinely makes me want to come back to it next year. This used to be such a great show that I really want it to find itself again. But maybe it's just a one-trick pony.

Darn straight!!!! You don't think she really is up there in the cabin forever? Dad has to be let out of jail eventually...she will certainly be back, right?
Who does Lynette's husband go to see in Atlantic City? Child from an affair???
So Bree really went off the deep end.
Edie's face, with the one really big eye, got the loudest reaction out of me!
Great episode, even better preview!

The woman Tom was seeing looks like a grown woman to me.
Is Edie really risking jail just to spite Susan?
I didn't think that Gabby could be anymore unlike-able, but I was wrong.
According to the preview:
There might be some sort of flashback, because Mary Alice was in the first scenes of the preview.

Maybe I was just easily amused last night, but I loved it!

I'm feeling the same way. When it first started, the mystery of the suicide as it unfolded was interesting. Plus learning the different characters' motivations kept me coming back.
But for a while now it's just been silly subplots without much to keep it intriguing.

It's actually pretty good as a one hour sitcom. I'll probably keep watching it on that basis.

She was also the girl in an episode of My Name is Earl. She played Xena, a co-worker at the burger joint. If you remember, she lost her retainer in the fries.

I think she was also on an episode of Big Love a couple weeks ago...

Supposedly he'll be returning in flashback form.

does anyone know where there's a known good torrent of this? I'm new to the d/l thing but am using azureus per the other 5 year old thread :) I d/l about 3/4 of this ep on mininova (56K is painful) but it looks like a super pixelated OTA version. Not sure my wife will want to watch it.
i found this http://www.torrentz.com/torrent_727819.html but it appears to link back to mininova so that would be the same video right?

There are two different versions of that episode listed here (http://tvrss.net/search/?show_name=Desperate+Housewives&show_name_exact=true). Figure out which one you already tried and then try the other one.
