Transfers not going back to TIVO

I like to store extra programs on my PC and transfer them back to TIVO to view later on. That's one of the main features of networking, right?

Anyway, I'm wireless and everything works fine transfering to the PC using Tivo to Go, but my computer is hit or miss (mostly miss lately) when it comes to showing up on the now playing list.

I've tried everything in the manuals, made sure firewall was off,etc., and just can't get a grip on what button to push to make this work consistently. I'm sure someone out there has an answer for me.

Check in your computer processes to ensure that TivoBeacon.exe, TivoServer.exe and TivoTransfer.exe are running. I think only 1 or 2 of those have to be running to recognize your computer and transfer from it but cant remember which so check for all 3. This may not be a fix, but something that is often overlooked.
