View Full Version : Product Watch killed Music Photos & More content

As soon as Tivo added the "Product Watch" feature ( I received mine in a service download May 12), EVERYTHING else under "Music, Photos & More" (except for the Nikon thing) went poof. Gone are Yahoo Photos, Weather, Traffic, podcasting, etc. Tech Support could not help and said they didn't know what to do. I tried a restart but that didn't do anything. I even tried a forced connection to Tivo. Nothing changed. I'm connecting through the network just fine. The only thing I didn't do is a cold re-boot. But I'm connecting to the service just fine. BTW, I'm using a wireless Tivo network adaptor. I HOPE Tivo can fix this soon. Anyone out there experiencing this?

Happened to me, too.
I still have access to my Tivo Desktop on my PC, and the manually added machines.
Anyone have the addresses for the apps that were there in the first place? I mainly want the Yahoo stuff and the matching game, although the movie listings would be nice too. :)

I had the same thing happen here, however it seems to not be happening to all as in another thread someone has product watch as well as all the old apps. I have e-mailed Stephen, Tivo Ops Manager and hopefully you can answer here or by e-mail what is going on. Some of the features I didn't use all that much but then some I did from time to time so while it does make the menu cleaner I am also missing out on some things.

Yay. Everything's back after an update today. I are happy now.

Still missing mine, just checked a few min ago actually. An update you say? Software update or update as in new products?

Forced a connection around 7pm eastern to see if the program guide would get updated for tonight's messed up schedule, and next time I looked they were all there.

Just completed a force update and no go. It is odd that the update made those features come back as when I got prodcut watch it was in the evening and I checked and my Tivo did the update earlier that morning, unless it took time to install product watch then product watch did not come from the update.
