Double tuner tivo audio help?

I just got a double tuner tivo for my cable tv no cable box. The tivo works fine but one of the tuner the audio is fadeing in and out. So I was going to return it but on the 3th day when I checked it the audio is fine. I even recorded same chanels with both tuners, the audio has no problem now.

I have a 40 hour tivo also, the shows that I transfered over to the new tivo has the audio problem.

The software for the double tuner is: 7.2.5a-01-2-649

Should I keep the double tuner or return it, I have 30 days to return it?

I have the identical problem. Just bought my Series 2 DT today. During the initial setup (BTW, I have no cable box), I saw the video on the first tuner, did not see the video on the second tuner. Finally selected, "Yes, I see video in the background", went through the rest of the setup, and both tuners work fine, except one tuner has audio studdering (slight pauses in audio every two seconds or so).

My current software is 7.2.5 01-2-649

I am interested in any feedback, especially since there are two posts on this in two days.

This isn't the first time audio problems on the dual tuner box have been mentioned. I think the first post on it said it was only on one of the tuners.

For what its worth I have two DT units no audio problems so this may be your unit as it doesn't sound like a software issue. Both of my units have the "a" version of software.

I would return the unit and pick up another one.
