Tivo 2 Series With New Hd Receiver

I am upgrading my DSS Receiver with an HD one. I dont want to get a new dvr or the intergrated HD DVR. Will my old Series 2 one still work with the HD Receiver? I obviously understand I wont get any high def channels on the TIVO but will it still work to record analog channels???

I have a HD cable box connected to my TiVo. I use the analog Svideo & audio outputs from my cable box into the TiVo. I take the HD cables (5) and connect them directly to my HD TV input terminals. The Tivo is connect to one ot the auxillary inputs on my TV. I can watch a live show in HD or through my TiVo. I do not know the configuration of the DSS receiver, so you should check to see if it has both HD and analog output terminals.
