When I pause my TiVo will the screen dim to prevent burn in?

The green progress bar does go away after 30 seconds or so, and that is the item most likely to get burned in.

Burn in needs a couple hours (at least) with the same thing on the screen,
and it's usually the bright colorful stuff.

If it's going to be longer than 5-10 minutes in pause, turn the TV off.
