Have a HR10-250 connected to a Panasonic DVD recorder, has been working flawlessly for 4 months, now the DTV unit will not output 480i, 480p is as far as it goes, any ideas on haw to correct this will be apprieciated. Thanks

Check in the video settings menu of the HD TiVo and see if the 480i resolution choice was shut off for selection by using the up cursor key.

I just discovered that the TV is reporting 480i but the DVD recorder is seeing 480p 0n all outputs. Any idea of why?

Check your cabling. Try using different ones as well.
Is your receiver and tv working as they should? IE, you have the receiver in 1080i and the tv reports it is 1080i? If that is the case I would say the problem is the dvd burner.
