View Full Version : Hanging on "setting clock"

I have an Series One Phillips HDR 112 with a lifetime subscription that has been sitting in the closet for about 18 months. I am trying to get it going again, but when making it's service call, it keeps hanging on "setting clock".

I made a test call which went through fine. I have tried making the call through "phone connection", and also through Guided Set-Up with the same results. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

There are lots of stories of strange behavior with units that have been sitting in storage for a long time. I don't ever remember a good explanation, but in many cases reimaging the hard drive with a fresh image cured the problems.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't know what that means. Is there another thread that will explain it, and how to do it? I am only a little technically inclined. Is this something TiVo Tech Support will help with?
