Preparing the service update

Just got 2 refurbed Hughes SD-DVR40 units off auction. Forced a download to get the 6.2.

On the reboot after the download, saw this for the first time:

'Preparing the service update, this may take up to an hour'.

Again, never saw this nag before. I saw the usual upgrading Tivo software on the reboot.

Anyone else see this before and is the phone line required to be connected through this process or not. At this point, I have the phone line connected to unit 2 forcing the 6.2 upgrade and do not want to interrrupt it.

The phone line does NOT have to be connected to the unit that is applying the upgrade on reboot.
