I have been out of the Tivo loop for a bit, but while my SAT-60 is still going strong, the wife wants another Tivo upstairs. What are my choices for a reciver/tivo combo, and what is the best available now?

The R10 is the latest and last of the DirecTV DVRs with TiVo. Check the online retailers for prices. DirecTV does have there own branded R15 DVR but it doesn't use TiVo software. Here's the forum that talks about the R15 http://www.dbstalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=106.
Also, check the threads about DirecTVs new leasing program.

You can still buy and HDTV/DIRECTV/TiVo at BESTBUY right now. You could buy it for the main viewing room and put the other one up in the bedroom.

CompUSA is supposed to have the R10 for $99, but no store I call has a clue what I am talking about.

I spied 4 R10s for $99 in local WalMart a few weeks back...worth a shot.
